Focus on Fitness — An essential part of being healthy is staying fit, but exercises that work for a “30ish” woman may not be as beneficial for a woman in her 40s. That’s why we provide interesting, age-appropriate stories about maintaining an active lifestyle. And, because we understand the challenges of “fitting in fitness,” we explore several options for making exercise part of your busy schedule. Eve & Adam: What Women and Men Don’t Get — Sometimes, as hard as we try or as much as we love our partner, we just don’t get them. In this regular column, questions that come from you, our readers, are addressed by local family therapist Dr. Balew. Through revealing explanations to burning questions like, “Why does my husband monopolize the remote?” Dr. Balew will help you begin to see your partner in a whole new light.
